We are accredited by NATA and ISO 9001, ensuring our services meet both Australian and international standards.\n Role based in Pilgangoora, WA\nPermanent Full Time\nRemuneration: $90k - 95k per annum\nFIFO: 8/6/7/7\nWe are seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team based in Pilgangoora, supporting laboratory testing and analysis activities.\nResponsibilities include, however, not limited to:\nBe responsible for the quality and quantity preparation of samples resulting in complete analysis of those samples. \nUnderstanding the processes in the preparation and analysis of samples for XRF, ICP-OES & ICP-MS • Wet Chemistry including preparation and validation of analytical standards.\nMaintenance and housekeeping of analytical and sample preparation equipment.\nDelivery of quality sample results to customers.\nCompliance with onsite HSE standards.\nUnderstanding of assay methods and recognition of sample types.\nAn understanding of mine site sampling techniques.\nAn understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance.\nAttend safety meetings and contribute to team safety.\nAble to provide detailed handover reports across shifts.\nBeing able to meet SGS Australasian set KPI’s.\nAt all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct. \n To be successful in this role you must have:\nQualification in Chemistry or related field, or the equivalent of demonstrated experience \nCurrent driver's license \nPrevious experience in a similar Minesite laboratory environment\nPrevious FIFO remote work desired\nPrevious LM2 experience desired\nPrevious XRF basic fault repair and error diagnosis desired\nPrevious QC of analysis results desired\nCompliance with onsite HSE standards\nTeamwork and cooperation\nCommunication\nOrganisation and efficiency\n WHY WORK FOR SGS?\nWorking at SGS means joining an innovative, Global company.
