We are accredited by NATA and ISO 9001, ensuring our services meet both Australian and international standards.\n Reporting to the Well Service Manager, you will play an integral role in maintaining and preparing critical Well Services equipment for deployment across our operations. Working from our Burton workshop, you'll undertake maintenance, equipment preparation and inventory management activities to ensure assets are safe, compliant and operationally ready. This permanent full-time Monday to Friday position based in Wingfield, conveniently located around 20 minutes from Adelaide's city centre.\nKey responsibilities include:\nPerform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on Well Services equipment, including inspection, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\nConduct servicing, testing and inspections in line with maintenance schedules and manufacturer requirements.\nIdentify equipment defects and recommend repair or replacement solutions.\nPrepare equipment, tools and consumables for mobilisation and conduct pre-deployment inspections to ensure operational readiness.\nReceive, inspect, store and issue equipment, spare parts and consumables whilst maintaining accurate inventory records and asset documentation.\nMaintain comprehensive maintenance records, inspection reports and job cards within company systems.\nEnsure compliance with SGS procedures, industry standards and legislative requirements.\nContribute to a safe workplace by participating in risk assessments, toolbox meetings and hazard identification activities.\nMaintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.\nCollaborate across operational, technical and logistics teams to support business objectives and customer requirements.\n You will bring strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience maintaining equipment within industrial, oil and gas, mining, manufacturing or similar environments. With a strong commitment to safety, you have proven experience diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, preparing equipment for mobilisation, and maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records.\nEssential requirements:\nTrade qualification in Mechanical, Diesel Mechanical, Fitting & Turning, Heavy Vehicle, Plant Maintenance or a related discipline.\nClass C Driver's Licence.\nHigh Risk Forklift Licence (LF).\nSenior First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.\nProven experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving and organisational skills.\nAbility to interpret technical documentation and use electronic maintenance systems.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\n WHY WORK FOR SGS?\nWorking at SGS means joining an innovative, Global company.
