Join SGS Valve Services as a Mechanical Fitter and help maintain, repair and overhaul industrial valves for customers across a range of industries.\nThis varied role combines workshop and site-based work, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills while working alongside an experienced team within a global business.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nCarrying out valve maintenance, repairs and overhauls.\nSupporting testing, certification and inspection activities.\nWorking safely and following industry and company standards.\nCompleting job paperwork and quality documentation.\nSupporting the team to deliver high-quality service to customers.\n This could suit candidates from a wide range of engineering backgrounds, including manufacturing, maintenance, plant, heavy industry, oil & gas, utilities, power generation or similar sectors.\nWhat You'll Need\nFull UK driving licence.\nMechanical fitting, maintenance, assembly, manufacturing or engineering background.\nForklift Truck licence.\nDesirable\nApprentice-trained Mechanical Fitter or equivalent experience.\nNVQ Level 2 (or similar engineering qualification).\nSafety Passport.\nExperience with valves, pumps, rotating equipment, pressure systems or industrial maintenance.\n At SGS, we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and commitment.
