And we will be 100% committed to helping you reach your full potential.\n About the Role\nWe’re looking for an enthusiastic Project Engineer Intern with an electrical engineering foundation who’s eager to apply classroom theory to real-world projects. You’ll be immersed in hands-on design evaluation, testing, and compliance processes while supporting cross-functional teams on active client projects. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about energy systems, electrical safety, and engineering problem-solving.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist project engineers in planning, executing, and documenting test programs for electrical and electronic products.\nSupport circuit analysis, schematic review, and construction verification of prototypes and test samples.\nConduct data collection, validation, and reporting using laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc.).\nParticipate in failure analysis and root cause investigations under engineering supervision.\nHelp prepare technical documentation, project reports, and compliance checklists (e.g., UL, IEC, or CSA standards).\nCollaborate with technicians, engineers, and quality teams to track progress and maintain project documentation in accordance with company standards.\nEngage in safety and process improvement initiatives within the engineering lab or testing environment.\n Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.\nBasic understanding of circuit theory, control systems, and electrical safety principles.\nFamiliarity with tools like Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or Altium (preferred).\nStrong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.\nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.\nLearning Outcomes\nBy the end of the internship, the intern will:\nGain exposure to real-world project engineering and testing workflows.\nUnderstand the fundamentals of compliance, standards, and certification processes (UL/IEC/CSA).\nDevelop skills in technical reporting, test data analysis, and engineering documentation.\nBuild professional confidence in interdisciplinary collaboration and stakeholder communication.\n Compensation\nThe expected salary for this position is $19.00 to $26.00 per hour. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role.
