Executes manual and automated test cases, validates compliance with lab standards, identifies and documents defects, and collaborates with developers to resolve issues across devices and Android OS versions.\n- Starting compensation is based on experience.\n- No H1 Sponsorship.\n- Must Already be in Chicago, IL or willing to relocate at own cost\nPrimary Responsibilities/Tasks:\nEnsure applications meet internal lab conformance standards and testing requirements.\nPerform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.\nIdentify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.\nConduct root cause analysis and support issue triage discussions.\nMaintain detailed test documentation, reports, and compliance records.\nConfigure and maintain test devices and lab environments.\nCollaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and improve product quality.\nContribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.\n Work Experience Requirements:\n2+ years of experience in Android application testing or mobile QA.\nStrong knowledge of Android OS, device fragmentation, and app lifecycle.\nExperience with automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso).\nProficiency with debugging tools such as ADB and Logcat.\nFamiliarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and Agile methodologies.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\nEducation Requirements: Bachelor of Science in related engineering major (EE, CE, etc.)\nThe Ideal Candidate.
