ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Job Title: QC Coordinator
  • Job Type: Acting Role
  • Location: SGS ISL, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork
  • Hours: 39 hours p/w

Overview of the role

  • Provide strong Leadership and Support across the team
  • Coach and develop team, ensuring all employees are trained to execute their duties- Lead the team to ensure business objectives are met
  • Represent ISL at routine customer interactions, aligning with client services
  • Build and maintain cross functional relationships with operational planner and coordinators (daily and weekly operational meetings).
  • Ensure optimization of testing sequences considering available capacity, while also balancing TpT commitments and customer demands.
  • Drive and promote continuous improvements initiatives within the lab
  • Carry out safety audits and leadership visits and work to enhance pro-active safety culture
  • Lead Tier 1 meetings and represent the team at Tier 2 meetings
  • Take full ownership of Laboratory Systems for new and existing equipment

  • Third Level qualification within science, Pharmacy with a minimum of 4 years experience in a GMP analytical lab.
  • Strong experience with analytical instrumentation, automated laboratory systems, and current regulatory expectations.
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team
