We are accredited by NATA and ISO 9001, ensuring our services meet both Australian and international standards.\n Join our Geochemistry team as a Quality Coordinator and play a key role in supporting quality excellence across our laboratory operations.\nIn this role, you will work closely with operational and technical teams to strengthen quality systems, support accreditation requirements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and customer confidence.\nThis is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic laboratory environment where quality, technical excellence, and continuous improvement are central to success.\nYou Will:\nMaintain and enhance the laboratory Quality Management System\nThe role requires a two-day onsite visit each month. This condition may change at anytime in line with operational and business requirements.\nCoordinate internal audits and support accreditation and compliance activities\nInvestigate quality issues and oversee corrective and preventative actions\nMonitor quality performance and identify opportunities for improvement\nAnalyse quality data, metrics, and trends to support decision-making\nSupport quality control programs and technical quality initiatives\nProvide guidance and training on quality processes and best practices\nCollaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and strengthen risk management\nPromote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement\n To be successful in this role, you will bring:\nExperience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Compliance, or similar role within a laboratory, technical, manufacturing, mining, or other regulated environment\nExperience conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions\nExperience supporting audits, accreditation, or compliance programs\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nThe ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams\nDesirable\nKnowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO/IEC 17025\nExperience working in an accredited laboratory environment\nInternal auditing qualifications or quality-related certifications\n WHY WORK FOR SGS?\nWorking at SGS means joining an innovative, Global company.
