Quality Management and Compliance Specialist (VisMin)

• Lead, coordinate, and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the Visayas and Mindanao laboratories and ensure continued compliance with accreditation, licensing, regulatory, legal, corporate, and customer requirements. The position serves as the focal person for audit readiness, permits, licenses, accreditation, corrective action management, and quality performance monitoring for Cebu and Davao laboratories.
• Assist the Quality Manager / Quality Management and Compliance Officer in maintaining the Laboratory’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, customer requirements, legal standards, and corporate policies.
• Coordinate accreditation, regulatory, customer, and corporate audits, ensuring sustained audit readiness and timely closure of findings.
• Support the management and control of QMS documentation ensuring availability, accuracy, and controlled access.
• Conduct internal audits, spot checks, and follow-ups; ensure timely closure of NCRs.
• Support customer complaint investigations, nonconformity analysis, and root-cause determinations.
• Acts as understudy of the Quality Manager in quality-related matters and handles urgent matters related to Quality, Environment and Health management systems.
• Ensure compliance with QHSEE policies, Group and national safety requirements, waste management rules, and emergency response guidelines.

• Education: College graduate (BS Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, BS Biology, Microbiology or any science-related course) with professional license, depending on the course taken. and related fields.
• Experience: 3-5 years in QA or QC work or 1-2 years supervisory or related experience in Lab environment.

Technical Skills:

PTK on auditing and knowledge of the international standard, applicable laws and corporate Policies and procedures, keyboard/computer skill. Functional: Attention to Details/Quality Orientation, Analysis/Problem-Assessment, Judgment/Problem-solving and Planning & Organizing/Work Management

Soft Skills:

Strong organizational and planning skills to manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with laboratory, procurement, and compliance teams.
• Keen attention to detail in inventory accuracy and audit reconciliation.
