Supplier Quality Representative (Mechanical) / Chemical Sampling Witness Inspector

SGS is looking for a Supplier Quality Representative (Mechanical) / Chemical Sampling Witness Inspector in Pasco, WA for a 6 month contract with a possibility of an extension. Work schedule is 5 days a week, up to 10 hours/day.

Scope of work:

• Witnessing transfer of material
• Witnessing weighing operations
• Collecting and documenting samples
• Verifying supplier compliance
• Following Bechtel quality requirements
• Working under respiratory protection requirements (PAPR)
• Acting as an owner/client representative at a supplier site

• At least one of the following: AWS CWI or API certification
• Five to ten (5 - 10) years industrial sample monitoring experience.
• Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc..
• The inspector must have access to and be properly equipped with a PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) to safely perform the required duties.
• Inspector must either already be Bechtel pre-qualified or be capable of obtaining BSQE Mechanical Level II Qualification (bill client -some we pay - 4 - 6 hours)

Additional details:

Type of contract: sub-contractor agreement (1099)

Work schedule and hours of work: 5 days / week. Up to 10 hrs / day (Monday to Friday)

Pay Rate: $45 / hr. to $50 / hr.

Per diems: to be discussed
