They showcase Shamrock products through culinary innovation, training, and product demonstrations and partner with customers to identify solutions that enhance their menus and overall foodservice operations.\nEssential Duties:\nAct as an in-house consultant directly working with customers to identify deficiencies in their operations, menu, marketing plan, or facility.\nDemonstrate the features and benefits of Shamrock products to customers and sales reps through product innovation sessions.\nCreate a library of videotaped product training series using Shamrock products emphasizing features and benefits to both customers and sales.\nPerform other kitchen and food service duties as assigned by the Enterprise Corporate Chef.\nDocument and record all items donated weekly and track monetary amounts.\nAssist in recipe development and execution.\nAssist the Enterprise Corporate Chef and kitchen staff in the preparation and presentation of daily meals for employees and guests.\nSupport meal service by assembling dishes, replenishing serving stations, and maintaining food quality standards.\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, storage areas, refrigerators, and food preparation equipment.\nReceive, inspect, and properly store food deliveries according to food safety and inventory procedures.\nAssist with special events, catered meetings, executive luncheons, and company functions as needed.\nSupport opening and closing kitchen procedures, including cleaning, stocking, and equipment checks.\nOther duties may be assigned.\nQualifications:\nCulinary school certification through an established culinary program and 5+ years of experience as a Chef.\nMust have the ability to exhibit showmanship and cooking demonstration to groups and media.\nKitchen & Staff development and training through cross-training and multi-tasking.\nEstablished history of menu development and creating profitable dishes to offset economic conditions.\nMust have the ability to analyze menus and culinary operations, alter, and develop menus, determine profitability of menu items, and calculate plate costs and menu mix costs.\nMust have proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nMust have a working knowledge of Shamrock Foods product lines.\nMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.\nMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to extensive travel throughout the state, evenings, weekends, and holidays.\nCorporate Summary:\nAt Shamrock Foods Company, people come first - our associates, our customers, and the families we serve across the nation.
