Duties: \nDesign, develop, test, and maintain complex database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL.\nCreate and optimize stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views, and database objects.\nDesign logical and physical data models to support business requirements.\nDevelop scalable database architectures and data structures for enterprise applications.\nImplement database standards, naming conventions, and development best practices.\nAnalyze and optimize SQL queries, execution plans, indexing strategies, and database performance.\nMonitor and troubleshoot database bottlenecks, locking issues, and resource utilization.\nConduct performance tuning activities to improve application responsiveness and scalability.\nImplement database partitioning, indexing, and optimization strategies\nDevelop and support data migration, integration, and ETL processes.\nDesign and maintain interfaces between enterprise systems.\nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across platforms.\nSupport data warehousing and reporting initiatives.\nPartner with business stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.\nParticipate in architecture reviews and strategic technology initiatives.\nConduct code reviews and promote development best practices.\nImplement database security controls and access management.\nEnsure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.\nSupport backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.\nMaintain audit and data governance standards.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field or 7+ years of equivalent experience.\n7+ years of database development experience in enterprise environments.\n5+ years of advanced Oracle PL/SQL development experience.\n5+ years of advanced Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL development experience.\nExperience designing and supporting high-volume transactional databases.\nExperience integrating data across multiple systems and platforms.\nExpert-level Oracle PL/SQL development.\nExpert-level Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL development.\nAdvanced SQL query design and optimization.\nDatabase performance tuning and troubleshooting.\nData modeling and database design.\nETL development and data migration.\nExperience with database version control and deployment processes.\nStrong understanding of relational database concepts and normalization.\nPreferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, and Microsoft SQL Server certifications.\nPay for the role is weighted on several factors and base salary is expected to start $135-140K with annual bonus potential.\nShamrock anticipates closing the application window
