Growth Engineers at Shapes own how the world meets Shapes - and why people stay. That’s acquisition, onboarding, activation, referrals, lifecycle, and retention. We’re a small team, so each person moves real numbers.

What you’ll do

• Grow Shapes to its next millions of users across iOS, Android, and web
• Run growth experiments end to end - idea, ship, measure - across onboarding, activation, referrals, and lifecycle
• Dig into the user journey to find the drop-offs and the aha moments that drive activation and retention
• Build new surfaces that make the first week on Shapes better
• Build the growth infrastructure underneath - attribution, event tracking, experimentation, internal dashboards
• Use LLMs wherever they move the number - personalized onboarding, generated landing pages, lifecycle copy, creative for paid channels
• Move fast from idea to live test, across the stack

What you need

• 3+ years shipping real consumer software
• Data-driven and scrappy - you care about results and think in hypotheses
• A curious generalist who wires together systems, data, and product intuition to move numbers
• Comfortable across the stack
• Thrive in ambiguity - minimal process, high ownership, fast iteration
• Focused on impact, not output
• Ready to roll up your sleeves and learn
• Low ego
• You can write SQL yourself and dig into metrics

Nice to have

• Startup experience as a technical co-founder, early engineer, or growth engineer
• Have shipped a consumer app to the App Store or Play Store on your own
• Experience with mobile growth tooling - AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, App Store / Play Store listings and experiments
• Experience with product analytics and experimentation - PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Statsig
• Experience applying AI / LLMs to production use cases - personalization, content generation, creative production
• Strong perspective on performance marketing fundamentals - CAC, ROAS, payback, LTV:CAC
