Our network of caring volunteers, dedicated professionals, and generous donors works to bring nourishing food to our neighbors in need.\nSince 2022, the need for Share’s services has increased by 120% and the need will only increase with the passage of recent legislation. Share is committed to being at the forefront of advocacy fighting against these policies and ensuring everyone has access to food. Funding for advocacy and expanding its major donor program are strategic goals for Share. Furthermore, Share has successfully completed two stages of its capital campaign to expand and revolutionize its Philadelphia warehouse headquarters at the heart of Share’s operations, to help more neighbors in need.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Procurement Manager plays a key role in supporting the daily logistics, partner engagement, and administrative functions of our food rescue and distribution programs. This position requires a highly organized, proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with internal teams, nonprofit partners, and community stakeholders.\nCore Responsibilities\nManage staff assigned to the daily operation of the Share Food Rescue app, backup to run app if staff assigned are on PTO \nResponsible for managing and maintaining positive relationships with donors, partner sites, and volunteers \nResponsible with coordinating with other community groups in regards to projects/opportunities to leverage SHARE FOOD RESCUE within those groups \nResponsible for attending community meetings and events as a representative for SHARE FOOD RESCUE and Share \nResponsible for all reporting and data management of the SHARE FOOD RESCUE Program, including maintaining accurate records of fleet donation data and nonprofit partner data. \nManage cross-departmental collaboration between OPS, Programs, Development/Marketing on SHARE FOOD RESCUE projects/processes \nManage initial bulk donation offers and food drives, coordinating with OPS \nResponsible for cross-training of any new procurement staff \nCommunicate and manage composting logistics as needed. \nRespond to general inquiry emails and phone calls, triaging and forwarding/coordinating with appropriate departments \nCoordinate ServSafe certification and compliance, as defined by Share leadership. \nConduct site visits and field delivery requests from partners as assigned. \nSupport procurement/bulk delivery activities as needed. \nRequired Experience and Abilities:\n5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, operations, food distribution, nonprofit programs, or a related field. \nExperience coordinating logistics, projects, staff, volunteers, or external partners. \nStrong relationship-building and communication skills with diverse internal and external stakeholders. \nExperience with data entry, reporting, recordkeeping, and maintaining accurate program information. \nProficiency with technology, databases, and mobile/web-based applications; ability to learn and troubleshoot program systems. \nPhysical Requirements:\nPosition requires sitting up to 75% of the time \nPosition requires keyboard use or repetitive hand motion \nPosition requires lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds at times \nEnvironmental Risks:\nPosition includes potential exposure to loud noises and warehouse environments up to 75% of the time.\nLOCATION\nThis position will be primarily based at the Share Food Program MontCo Warehouse, located at 1111 North Broad Street, Lansdale, PA 19446.\nCOMPENSATION\nCompensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.\nShare offers a comprehensive benefits package including access to group healthcare, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance paid time off.\nShare Food Program is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender or gender expression, marital status, sexual orientation, parental status, age, disability, genetic information, or any other category protected by law.
