Design Engineer\nLocation: Limerick\nAs Senior Design Engineer with Shareridge you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team to bring Uisce Éireann projects from project brief stage to the detailed design stage and into construction.\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the requirements associated with the design and delivery of infrastructure projects and will be expected to bring an innovative approach.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects while playing a key role in shaping our continued success.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nSupport the Design Manager in mentoring and developing members of the design team.\nTake charge of allocated projects and assigned engineers, ensuring effective leadership, coordination, and technical delivery.\nDevelop, review and approval of design documents and details, providing technical expertise and guidance where required.\nEnsure designs prioritise safety, the environment, constructability, and commercial efficiency.\nCollaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.\nLiaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure project requirements are met.\nReview and contribute to design programmes, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and to the required quality.\nUndertake site visits and technical assessments to inform and validate design work.\nIdentify opportunities for sustainability and innovation in design solutions.\nSupport business development initiatives and contribute to company growth.\nSkills and Experience:\nExperience working in a similar role on Uisce Éireann projects.\nAbility to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholder developing design solutions.\nAbility to use
