This executive serves as the technical integrator between product development, hardware engineering, software engineering, R&D, product management, design, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure the delivery of innovative, high-quality, and reliable consumer appliances.\nThis leader establishes the frameworks, processes, tools, and organizational capabilities required to manage increasingly complex, connected, and software-enabled products. The role ensures that customer requirements are translated into robust system architectures, technical requirements, verification plans, and product performance outcomes while accelerating innovation and reducing development risk.\nAs a key member of the Engineering Leadership Team, the Systems Engineering Executive Leader will champion model-based systems engineering, requirements management, systems architecture, product validation, reliability engineering, and cross-functional technical governance throughout the product lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nSystems Engineering Strategy & Leadership\nDevelop and execute the company's systems engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap.\nBuild and lead a high-performing global systems engineering organization.\nEstablish systems engineering standards, methodologies, tools, and best practices across all product categories.\nDrive organizational maturity in systems thinking, architecture development, requirements management, and technical decision-making.\nServe as the senior technical authority for complex cross-functional product development programs.\nProduct Architecture & Technical Leadership\nLead development of product system architectures for current and future appliance platforms.\nEnsure alignment between customer needs, business objectives, technical requirements, and product performance targets.\nDrive platform strategies that enable scalability, reuse, and technology leverage across product families.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and assess their impact on future product roadmaps.\nGuide critical design trade-offs involving performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and user experience.\nRequirements & Systems Integration\nEstablish robust processes for capturing, decomposing, and managing product requirements.\nEnsure end-to-end traceability from customer needs through design verification and validation.\nLead integration efforts across mechanical, electrical, embedded software, firmware, cloud, connectivity, AI, and user experience domains.\nResolve complex cross-functional technical issues and integration challenges.\nVerification, Validation & Reliability\nOversee system-level verification and validation strategies.\nEnsure products meet functional, performance, regulatory, safety, reliability, and customer experience requirements.\nPartner with Quality and Reliability teams to improve product robustness and reduce field failures.\nEstablish metrics and governance processes to monitor product performance and technical risk.\nProduct Development Governance\nImplement technical review processes and engineering gate criteria.\nLead technical risk management and mitigation activities across product portfolios.\nEstablish system-level KPIs and engineering performance metrics.\nEnsure consistent engineering execution across multiple development programs and global teams.\nOrganizational Development\nRecruit, develop, and mentor world-class systems engineering talent.\nBuild organizational capabilities in architecture, modeling, simulation, requirements management, and systems integration.\nFoster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nPartner with engineering leaders to strengthen technical career paths and succession planning.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner closely with Product Management, Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams.\nInfluence strategic product decisions through technical insights and data-driven recommendations.\nCommunicate complex technical concepts effectively to executive leadership and business stakeholders.\nRepresent systems engineering in executive reviews, strategic planning activities, and customer engagements.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Engineering required.\nMaster's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.\nAdvanced technical or business degree (MBA, PhD) is a plus.\nExperience\n15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience.\n10+ years leading complex multidisciplinary product development programs.\nSignificant experience in consumer products, consumer electronics, home appliances, robotics, connected devices, or related industries.\nProven experience leading large technical organizations and managing senior engineering leaders.\nDemonstrated success delivering products from concept through commercialization.\nTechnical Expertise\nSystems architecture and product platform development.\nRequirements engineering and traceability.\nVerification and validation methodologies.\nReliability engineering and risk management.\nModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).\nEmbedded systems, software-enabled products, and connected ecosystems.\nMechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing
