The position is responsible for the functions of Dispatch, Sales Order Processing, Contract Billing and Logistics. Additionally, the Region Operation Manager will be responsible for achieving and improving branch performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through the implementation of standardized processes, policies and technologies. \nResponsibilities\nResponsible for managing, motivating, and mentoring staff of employees involved with operational and administrative processes.\nMonitor and direct the day-to-day activities of all regional staff to ensure all functional areas are running smoothly and efficiently\nEnsure staff is aware of goals and ensure all KPI targets are met or exceeded\nFrequent review and evaluation of procedures to locate inefficiencies and apply improvements when needed.\nDevelop and coordinate activities related to continuous improvement of branch operations throughout business\nPartner with branch leadership to develop a business plan that are consistent with corporate objectives and local market conditions.\nReview financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.\nOversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.\nUtilize standardized KPI’s and Reporting to identify areas of improvement and develop actions with the Ops staff for resolution.\nIdentify, Coach and Develop the staff to increase levels of proficiency and establish departmental leadership to assist with the day-to-day management of the team.\nWork with Branch Service Manager and Controller in the management of inventory and ordering of equipment, parts and supplies to fulfill the local branch forecast and revenue demand.\nEstablish process and communication with the Branch Service organization for assistance with Meter Automation and Customer Satisfaction.\nShare knowledge with the SBS National Director of Operations team and other branches on effective practices, business opportunities and needs.\nQualifications\n5+ years proven experience in Branch Operations Leadership\nAmple knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management\nFamiliarity with business and financial principles and practices\nExcellent organizational and leadership abilities\nOutstanding communication and people skills\nAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization\nIn-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)\nWorking knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics\nFamiliarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)\nAbout Sharp Business Systems\nSharp Business Systems (SBS) is a direct sales division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, the U.S. based subsidiary of Japan's Sharp Corporation.
