Role Overview:
As a ServiceNow Technical Lead, you will serve as the primary technical authority for complex enterprise-wide implementations, bridging the gap between intricate business requirements and scalable platform architecture. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, project managers, and global delivery teams to design, develop, and deploy robust ServiceNow solutions. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of IT service delivery, ensuring that our clients achieve seamless automation, improved operational transparency, and high-impact business outcomes across their digital landscape. This role is pivotal in driving technical excellence and maintaining the integrity of the platform as it scales to meet evolving organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and oversee end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, ensuring that technical designs align with ITIL best practices to maximize platform performance and scalability.
- Lead the development of custom applications and complex workflows using JavaScript to automate manual processes and enhance user productivity for our global clients.
- Design and maintain secure integrations between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise systems using REST APIs to ensure seamless data flow and process synchronization.
- Mentor junior developers and technical consultants by conducting code reviews and providing architectural guidance to maintain high standards of delivery quality.
- Partner with business process owners to translate high-level requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that the final solution delivers measurable value and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the ServiceNow environment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous service availability for end-users.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules, with a proven track record of managing full-cycle implementations in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow-specific scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes) to build sophisticated, custom-tailored solutions.
- Strong command over REST API integrations and web services, enabling the connection of ServiceNow with diverse legacy and modern cloud-based ecosystems.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.
- Proven ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, or Chennai, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration within distributed teams.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management principles.
- 5 - 10 years of professional experience in technical roles, showing a clear progression in managing platform architecture and team leadership responsibilities.
