We do this by focusing on speed to market and facilitating team-based decision-making. The role of the Hard Surfaces Procurement Coordinator is critical to executing Shaw’s strategic procurement model. The role is focused around supporting the needs of the procure-to-pay process, primarily involving the daily transactional relationship with suppliers. The HS Procurement Coordinator will report directly to the Global Procurement Manager. The HS Procurement Coordinator will support and maintain the process from purchase order to supplier payment.\nOrganization & Prioritization:\nAbility to manage multiple purchase orders, supplier requests, and competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy.\nResponsibilities:\nAccountable for ensuring that purchase orders are created and sent to suppliers, and promise dates are updated in a timely manner \nUtilize reasoning skills to problem solve and make recommendations regarding supplier performance \nCollaborate with key business partners including Production Planning, Accounts Payable, Global Sourcing, Customer Service, Financial Services and others \nProvide input into supplier KPI’s \nRespond to internal and external customer requests and issues proactively and with a high degree of customer service \nManage SKU maintenance, item attributes, adds, cost changes, etc. \nManage supplier maintenance (adds and changes) \nManage the process to resolve match exceptions and claims by working with other support groups and the receiving plants according to procurement policies and procedures, and escalate critical issues as needed \nEnter and maintain cost changes as authorized \nPrepare and maintain reports as requested \nParticipate on special teams as needed \nManage the direct ship process as needed \nProcess PeopleSoft eProcurement requisitions as needed \nCross train to provide back-up as necessary. \nRequirements:\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required \nAbility to learn new technologies, including Qlikview and Tableau required \nAbility to build relationships - Develops strong working relationships with suppliers and business partners to support collaboration and achieve business objectives.\nAccountability & Ownership - Takes responsibility for outcomes, follows through on commitments, and ensures issues are resolved from start to finish.\nProblem Solving Skills -
