The role will involve working as an internal BDM maximising existing relationships and new business opportunities while supporting brokers with existing pipeline and UW queries.\nKey Role Responsibilities\nActively manage application pipeline through contact with the broker and internal departments..\nAchievement of originations budget aligned with SRM target.\nInput and maintain accurate and current pipeline management.\nLiaise with relevant departments of the business supporting existing pipeline and management of cases.\nSupport the regional SRM with a panel of Strategic Partners and a selection of allocated broker partners based in Scotland.\nAchievement of targets and KPI’s to increase business volumes.\nChallenge and evidence aspects of specific cases where we can demonstrate a case fits the credit policy and work with risk and credit.\nTake ownership for complying with the Training and Competence scheme, personal development and regulatory training requirements.\nProject work as and when required.\nSupporting the internal sales desk on a adhoc basis when required.\n Skills & Experience\nProven experience in the Mortgage or Financial Services Industry\nPrevious experience in an outbound & inbound telesales environment\nPrevious experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service telephone role\nStrong communication skills both verbal and written\nA background of successful relationship building or client management\nExcellent call handling, listening and influencing skills\nThe confidence to pursue leads and overcome objections\nPC literate with a good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and CRM systems\nProactive team player - ability to work on own initiative; solo and as part of a team\nSelf-motivated and enthusiastic with the drive to succeed and deliver results\nAbility to multitask to ensure SLA’s are met\n Your Wellbeing - We take your health and well-being very seriously by providing a range of benefits to give you and your family peace of mind.
