The role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance through the production of COREP, FINREP and other prudential and statistical returns.\nThe role will also support the ongoing enhancement of the regulatory reporting framework through automation, process improvement and data quality initiatives. Working closely with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Technology and other stakeholders across the Bank, the role will ensure reporting processes remain robust, efficient and aligned with evolving regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPreparation of regulatory statistical and supervisory returns to the Bank of England / Prudential Regulation Authority / Financial Conduct Authority / European Banking Authority, including Common Reporting.\nReview and analysis of the returns to ensure timely and accurate production of the reports in line with reporting definitions.\nAssist with implementation and automation of current and forthcoming regulatory returns.\nAssist with improving data extract in line with the regulatory definitions.\nAssist with designing reports to extract information to support regulatory returns.\nLiaising with team members within Finance and other stakeholders within the bank with the view to enhance data quality.\nMaintain and update regulatory reporting documentation, policies and procedures.\nAssist with any other external reporting if required.\nSupport the production of other external reporting requirements as and when required.\nSkills & Experience:\nExperience in regulatory reporting within a banking or financial services environment.\nGood understanding of prudential regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements, including COREP, FINREP and statistical reporting.\nUp-to-date knowledge of PRA, FCA and BoE regulatory developments and policy requirements.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nAdvanced Excel skills and experience using regulatory reporting systems and data extraction tools.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.\nAbility to work under pressure and manage competing priorities to meet tight regulatory deadlines.\nProactive approach to process improvement, automation and enhancing control frameworks.\nHighly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills.\nTeam-oriented approach with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.\nDemonstrates Shawbrook values through openness, transparency, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.\nAbility to use regulatory reporting software such as Suade, Regnology or similar.\nAccounting / Professional Qualifications\nEducation / Professional Qualifications\nShawbrook is committed to providing opportunities to all candidates and understands that not all candidates may possess qualifications directly aligned to the role.
