The role supports credit decisioning models with data analytics, data mining and statistical analysis; produces regular credit risk reporting packs with insightful analysis in line with Group standards; champions credit data quality initiatives internally to support the effectiveness of overall analysis and reporting; supports the Credit Risk team in their reporting activities and ad hoc projects to ensure the effective management of credit and risk issues; and supports the management of Impairment with monthly controls and oversight.\n Experience\nStrong aptitude for working with data, undertaking analysis, interpreting and presenting results and making recommendations\nAn ability to work to a high standard of accuracy; present information in a logical and professional format\nGood understanding of accounting / financial information and the ability to interpret data\nUnderstanding of SME Commercial banking finance products\nTechnical\nSolid understanding of tools and infrastructure at the forefront of reporting and analytics\nExperience delivering analytics with Power BI, Ultrix or Tableau\nExperience of working with credit decision models and working with third-party data vendors\nKnowledge of Microsoft SQL server, SAS and Python would be beneficial\nExcellent Excel skills\nKnowledge of IFRS9, PD, LGD models\nSkilled with visual design / data presentation\nInterpersonal\nAnalytical thinker who can use initiative to problem solve and make recommendations\nCustomer focused approach to delivering solutions\nAble to work under pressure and to tight deadlines\nAdaptable and flexible\nProfessional, well presented with high work standards\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience\nEnthusiastic “can do” attitude\nAble to establish effective working relationships at all levels\n Your Wellbeing - We take your health and well-being very seriously by providing a range of benefits to give you and your family peace of mind.
