Maintain Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) documentation for assigned programs.\nEstablish data collection systems for process, product and customer feedback.\nSupplier quality coordination of parts supplied to assigned product units.\nInitiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process and quality systems.\nTrain / mentor Quality Technicians as needed.\nIdentify and record any problems relating to the product, process, or quality systems.\nControl further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected.\nOrganize retrieval of supplier PPAP information.\nOrganize follow up activities to customer PPAP submissions.\nReport weekly to management regarding timelines.\nDuring slow periods, perform internal and/or external audits on the basis of ISO 9001:2015/IATF 16949 requirements to maintain compliance.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nMinimum for (4) year degree or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer Certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAt least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment required, including at least 1 year of quality engineering experience; medical device manufacturing experience a plus.\nMinimum of one (1) year experience in supplier and customer-related quality engineering role required.\nExperience in APQP on new products in automotive industry a plus.\nMust have strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, to interface with customers, suppliers, and all levels of personnel in one organization. \nCapable of working in an international environment.\nMaintain professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary to provide guidance and serve as an internal expert on quality systems, philosophy, techniques, and methodologies.\nExperience with Quality Management Systems strongly preferred.\nHigh level of computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word/Excel.\nMust be detail-oriented.\nStrong organizational skills with ability to manage several tasks and/or projects simultaneously.\nThorough understanding of ISO 9001 and auditing process.\nKnowledge of ISO 13485 and auditing process a plus.\nInternal Process Auditor experience a bonus but not required.
