We combine IoT sensors and AI-powered analytics to detect water inefficiencies and leaks in commercial, industrial and ublic buildings, helping utilities, insurers, real estate portfolios &corporates dramatically reduce waste and cost.\nAbout the role\nThis role is a great fit if you're in your final semester of studies in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar, and looking for a real, substantial internship as part of your programme, not just a box to tick. We're looking for a minimum of 6 months, full-time. Our entire marketing function currently runs through one person, our Marketing Manager, so this internship isn't a rotation through a big department. You'll work closely alongside her day to day and get visibility into the full range of marketing activities a company runs: content, social, events, sales enablement, campaigns, and strategy.\nTasks\nExamples of tasks where your input is needed\nBrand & content - help manage our LinkedIn account and support employee advocacy posts, contribute to our newsletter and blog, and lend a hand with press coordination and application submissions\n\nMessaging & sales support - contribute to the messaging behind our campaigns: cold email copy, event flyers, one-pagers, and other sales material, and help adapt content for different markets and audiences\n\nEvents - help prepare materials before events, support on the ground where relevant, and follow up on leads and outreach afterward\n\nOrganization & tracking - help keep our marketing activities, campaigns, and reporting on track and easy to follow\n\nData & insight - support tracking of our marketing performance (LinkedIn growth, website traffic, campaign results), and get involved in marketing strategy\n\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\nIn your final semester of a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with an internship built into your programme\n\nA genuine commitment to the environment, in your own way and your own life. We're a water and sustainability company, and we'd love that to be something you actually care about, not just something you write about\n\nWe're a data-driven company, and we like people who enjoy digging into numbers, not just avoiding them\n\nSomeone who's able to keep things organized and help track our activities\n\nIndependence and initiative are genuinely appreciated here. You'll be working closely with one person, which means a lot of trust and room to take things on\n\nOur working language is English. Other languages are a bonus, not a requirement, our Marketing Manager has a soft spot for languages and speaks six of her own.\nBenefits\nWhat We Offer\nA mission-driven company solving one of Europe's most pressing infrastructure challenges - water resilience.\n\nDirect access to and collaboration with the founding team.\n\nFlexibility to work remotely with regular in-person collaboration in Brussels.\n\nA culture that values impact, excellence, autonomy, and continuous learning.\n\nExposure to the full marketing stack of a company, from strategy to execution. As a newcomer to the field, this means you'll get to see every side of marketing in practice, and figure out what genuinely energizes you before you commit to a specific direction. This is a real chance to sha(y)pe your own path forward.\n\nWe’re passionate about our people and our culture. We do everything we can to make sure we have an inclusive environment for all and are focused on taking care of each other.\nShayp is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. If you think you have what it takes to thrive here, we want you!","description_format":"text","description_chars":3856,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":["Continuous learning"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Belgium","iso":"BE","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["IoT Platforms & Solutions","Water Utilities"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-18T21:51:24Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":84,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.843,"p_room":1,"age_days":7,"expected_fill_days":186,"reasons":["conf:0","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-21T05:46:15Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/shayp-marketing-coordinator-assistant-internship","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/shayp-marketing-coordinator-assistant-internship.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-21T23:30:55Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":33526,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-22T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":692027},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=692027"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fshayp-marketing-coordinator-assistant-internship"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fshayp-marketing-coordinator-assistant-internship"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fshayp-marketing-coordinator-assistant-internship"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/shayp-marketing-coordinator-assistant-internship\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fshayp-marketing-coordinator-assistant-internship"}]}
