vocational programmes, at Southampton College.\nThis role is ideally suited to an experienced educational leader with a proven track record of driving high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Foundation Learning, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and vocational qualifications.\nYou will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring learners receive personalised support and an inclusive learning experience that enables them to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress towards greater independence, further study, supported internships and employment.\nWorking closely with staff, students, parents, carers and external agencies, you will champion outstanding learner outcomes, lead curriculum development, and foster a outcomes.\nDesign, develop and review curriculum in partnership with stakeholders to meet EHCP outcomes, local priorities and progression pathways.\nLine manage teaching staff, setting high expectations and supporting performance and professional development.\nMonitor and drive improvement in recruitment, retention, achievement, attendance and progression against College KPIs.\nEnsure excellence in teaching, learning and assessment, including internal verification and awarding body compliance.\nOversee learner progress, behaviour and safeguarding, implementing timely interventions for at-risk learners.\nMaintain strong partnerships with local authorities, employers, parents/carers and external agencies.\nContribute to self-assessment, quality improvement planning and continuous improvement across the faculty.\nSkills/Experience:\nAbility to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levels \nExperience of leading teams \nQualifications:\nLevel 2 qualifications in Literacy & Numeracy \nLevel 3 qualification in the relevant area of expertise (or commitment to achieving this in the required timeframe) \nLevel 5 Teaching qualification (or commitment to achieving this in the required timeframe) \nRelevant degree and/or appropriate level professional qualifications \nIdeal Attributes:\nFlexibility in approach \nAbility to prioritise and
