This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to play a key role in supporting students and staff across our TV, podcast, film, photography, and digital production environments.\nWorking closely with course leaders and curriculum managers, you will provide technical expertise, maintain specialist equipment and facilities, and help create an outstanding learning experience for our students.\nWeoffer great benefits including;\nGenerous annual leave\nEnhanced employer pension contribution\nRegular training and development \nDuties\nSupport staff and students in our TV and podcast studios and creative media learning environments.\nSet up, maintain and troubleshoot specialist audio-visual and media production equipment.\nProvide technical support for cameras, lighting, sound equipment, microphones and recording systems.\nDemonstrate industry-standard media production techniques and studio practices.\nSupport students using specialist software, including Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop.\nOrganise, maintain and monitor equipment, resources and studio spaces.\nOrder and manage equipment, materials and consumables as required.\nEnsure all studios and learning environments operate safely and effectively.\nPromote and maintain high standards of health and safety across the curriculum area.\nAssist with learner supervision during practical activities and studio sessions.\nSupport college events, open evenings and showcase activities when required.\nAct as a First Aider following relevant training.\nExperience\nWe are looking for someone who has:\nExperience working with media production, broadcasting, photography or digital creative technologies.\nKnowledge of audio-visual systems, studio lighting, sound recording and video production workflows.\nExperience maintaining and troubleshooting technical equipment.\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nExperience using Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to support both staff and students.\nA proactive and flexible approach to work.\nA strong understanding of health and safety requirements within practical learning environments.\nAbout Us\nThe South Hampshire College Group (SHCG) is a dynamic, purpose driven Further Education organisation with a commitment to Creating Better Futures for learners, employers and communities within South Hampshire and beyond.\nWe pride ourselves on living our values - Collaborative, Inclusive and Aspirational.
