{"id":871994,"url":"https://alion.io/job/shecancode-reliability-engineer","title":"Reliability Engineer","company":{"id":447625,"name":"SheCanCode","domain":"shecancode.io","url":"https://alion.io/company/shecancode","size_band":"1-10","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Schema","truth_index":null},"role":"Industrial Engineering","role_family":"Industrial Engineering","seniority":"staff","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"inferred","locations":[],"countries":[],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":10,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"HPC","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-05-18T06:05:18Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-05-18","last_verified_at":"2026-11-04T14:41:58Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":170,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":0,"flags":[],"days_open":169},"description":"About Graphcore\nAt Graphcore, we’re building the future of AI compute.We’re a team of semiconductor, software and AI experts, with deep experience in creating the complete AI compute stack - from silicon and software to infrastructure at datacenter scale.As part of the SoftBank Group, backed by significant long-term investment, we are delivering key technology into the fast-growing SoftBank AI ecosystem.To meet the vast and exciting AI opportunity, Graphcore is expanding its teams around the world.We are bringing together the brightest minds to solve the toughest problems, in a place where everyone has the opportunity to make an impact on the company, our products and the future of artificial intelligence.\nJob Summary\nResponsible for system-level reliability of AI servers with liquid cooling and HVDC architectures, owning reliability validation, shock & vibration robustness, and failure analysis from board to rack level to ensure safe transport, deployment, and long-term datacenter operation.\nKey Responsibilitiesand skills\nPlan and execute reliability validation across board, server, and rack levels.\nDefine and run environmental, accelerated, and mechanical tests, including thermal/power cycling, humidity, corrosion, shock & vibration, and HALT/HASS.\nLead shock & vibration validation for transportation, handling, seismic, and operational conditions.\nAssess reliability risks for liquid cooling systems (leakage, fatigue, pump life, corrosion, coolant stability).\nEvaluate HVDC mechanical and electrical robustness (busbars, connectors, power interfaces).\nPerform reliability prediction and life data analysis (Weibull, MTBF).\nLead cross-functional design reviews and drive risk mitigation.\nConduct failure analysis and RCA using standard FA methodologies.\nDefine and maintain reliability and S&V test specifications (JEDEC, Telcordia GR-63, JESD22, MIL-STD-810, ISTA, ASHRAE, UL, IEC).\nImplement On-going Reliability Test (ORT) for production quality.\nDocument results and support customer audits and certifications.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Materials, or related Engineering.\n10+ years of reliability engineering experience in AI servers, datacenter systems, HPC, or complex electronics.\nHands-on experience with environmental, shock, and vibration testing.\nStrong knowledge of reliability methodologies and statistical analysis.\nPractical experience with liquid cooling and HVDC systems.\nProven failure analysis and RCA capability.\nStrong communication skills in English; Mandarin a plus.\nPreferred Experience\nAI server architecture and large-scale liquid cooling systems.\nFEA/modal analysis and test correlation.\nDatacenter, telecom, and transportation standards knowledge.\nReliability certification (e.g., ASQ CRE).\nBenefits\nIn addition to a competitive salary, Graphcore offers a competitive benefits package.
