The role will also ensure compliance with established financial policies and procedures while supporting operational efficiency and profitability.\nResponsibilities\n1. Financial Planning and Budgeting\nCoordinate and drive the plant budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely collection of budget information.\nSupport the achievement of plant objectives and provide financial insights to facilitate management decision-making.\n2. Cost Management\nAnalyse operating costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive cost optimisation initiatives.\nLead cost-efficiency initiatives aimed at improving operational performance and maximising product margins.\n3. Product Costing\nWork closely with the Plant Manager to improve product cost competitiveness.\nMaintain accurate product costing in SAP, including activity types and overhead rates.\nCollaborate with the Business Controller to develop competitive pricing strategies that maximise profitability.\n4. Internal Controls\nEnsure effective internal controls across plant revenue, expenditure, and inventory processes.\nSafeguard company assets by identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks.\n5.
