You will collaborate with global stakeholders, apply innovative technologies, and contribute to Shell's digital transformation agenda.\nThis role offers the opportunity to:\nDeliver automation solutions that simplify processes and reduce manual effort.\nWork with emerging technologies including AI, RPA, and the Microsoft Power Platform.\nGain exposure to a wide range of finance processes and business functions.\nCollaborate with diverse teams across multiple geographies and cultures.\nContinuously develop your technical and professional capabilities within a global organization.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience across Finance Operations.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, practical automation solutions using approved DTA technologies.\nDeliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs, technical standards, and governance requirements.\nConvert functional requirements into effective technical designs and implementations.\nAdhere to agile methodologies, development best practices, and documentation standards throughout the solution lifecycle.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring solution stability and performance during hyper care and post-deployment support.\nPartner with senior developers and key stakeholders to drive sound design decisions and effective implementation approaches.\nProvide regular updates, clarify requirements, and proactively manage deliverables to support timely project execution.\nSolution Delivery: Contribute to the development of practical, scalable, and business-aligned automation solutions.\nTechnical Excellence: Apply coding, testing, and documentation standards to ensure maintainable, reliable, and high-quality solutions.\nStakeholder Partnership: Collaborate effectively with business users and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver measurable value.\nWhat you bring\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n3 to 6 years of experience in software engineering, automation, application development, or digital solution delivery.\nStrong problem-solving skills with experience applying continuous improvement methodologies and root cause analysis techniques.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.\nHands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: Power Apps, Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop), SQL, SharePoint Online, reporting and analytics solutions, or similar automation platforms.\nExperience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.\nFamiliarity with Agile delivery methodologies and collaborative ways of working.\nRelevant technical certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Automation, Cloud Technologies, or related disciplines are highly desirable.\n-\nDISCLAIMER:\nCertain positions within the organization may be subject to post-employment restrictions, including non-compete obligations.
