the role\nE&I Technicians execute preventative, corrective and breakdown\nmaintenance across QGC Midstream electrical, instrumentation, control\nand safety systems.\nThe role supports safe, reliable maintenance strategies and\nelectrical safety requirements.\nKey Accountabilities\nSafety, HSSE and Electrical Control of Work\nWork safely in accordance with Shell HSSE expectations, Life Saving Rules, Control of Work, Permit to Work, electrical isolation, test-for dead and job hazard analysis requirements.\nDemonstrate personal responsibility for electrical safety, intervention and stop-work authority.\nMaintain tooling, test equipment, calibration, housekeeping and worksite standards.\nSupport SCE, statutory, regulatory and EEHA maintenance activities as directed.\nSupport safe energization, de-energization, commissioning and return to-service activities\n.\nE&I Maintenance Execution\nExecute preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, control and safety systems.\nInspect, test, diagnose, repair and overhaul electrical and instrumentation assets in accordance with maintenance strategies, procedures, OEM requirements and regulatory expectations.\nPerform fault-finding and troubleshooting on LV systems, instrumentation loops, valves, transmitters, analyzers, control systems safety systems, QMI, cathodic protection, PLC interfaces and specialist equipment as authorized and competent.\nSupport SCE, statutory, regulatory and EEHA maintenance activities as directed.\nAssist with planning and execution of shutdowns, major maintenance activities and equipment handovers.\nReliability, Quality and CMMS\nRecord as-found and as-left condition, calibration results, failure information, work logs and completion feedback in the CMMS.\nIdentify defects, recurring failures and improvement opportunities and escalate through appropriate maintenance and reliability processes.\nRole model inclusive behaviors and contribute to a respectful team culture.\nSupport defect elimination, reliability improvement and continuous improvement activities.\n Ensure completed E&I work is tested, documented and handed back safely and effectively.\nTeamwork and Capability\nWork collaboratively with Operations, Mechanical, Engineering, Planning, Contractors and OEM representatives.\n Coach, mentor and support apprentices, trainees and developing technicians.\nMaintain required licenses, competencies, QGC learning and specialist authorizations.\nSkills and Experience\nCurrent Electrical Licence recognised by the Queensland Electrical \nLicensing Board or equivalent accepted by the business.\nCertificate III/IV Instrumentation or equivalent instrumentation competency relevant to the role.\n Experience in LNG, oil and gas, petrochemical, utilities, mining, heavy industry or process plant environments.\nEEHA certification and demonstrated electrical/instrumentation maintenance experience.\nCurrent First Aid and LV Rescue, where required for the role.\nValid driver licence.\nExperience with Permit to Work systems, electrical isolations, JHA/JSA and safe systems of work.\n• HV, QMI, cathodic protection, PLC,
