The role supports safe and reliable operation of the LNG asset by developing high quality plans and work packs, identifying labour, materials and tooling requirements, and ensuring work is planned, prepared and ready for safe and efficient execution in accordance with approved procedures, maintenance strategies, company standards and approved ways of working.\nKey Accountabilities\nHSSE\nIntegrate HSSE requirements, company standards and approved ways of working into work planning activities. \nEnsure task lists and work packs contain the information required to support safe and compliant work execution.\nSupport continuous improvement of planning practices through incorporation of HSSE learnings, audits and incident findings. \nWork Planning\nIdentify opportunities to group, bundle and optimise work to improve execution efficiency and maximize asset availability. \nPrepare assigned work in accordance with approved procedures, maintenance strategies and planning standards. \nDefine labour, material, tooling, service and resource requirements. \nDevelop work plans, task lists and work packs that support safe and efficient field execution\nCoordinate the procurement and availability of materials, services and supporting resources. \nMonitor work readiness and address planning related constraints. \nSupport the preparation of work deferrals where delays to critical work cannot be mitigated.\nMonitor planning quality and performance metrics.\nQuality and CMMS\nMaintain and improve planning data, bills of material, work plans and task lists within the CMMS. \nSupport optimisation of work plans, task lists and planning standards. \nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve planning efficiency, work readiness and data quality. \nSupport assurance reviews, audit activities and business improvement initiatives.\nRole model inclusive behaviours and contribute to a respectful team culture.\nPrepare time and cost estimates to support budgeting and forecasting activities. \nCapture planning and execution feedback and incorporate approved improvements into planning data, work packs and planning processes.\nTeamwork and Capability\nWork collaboratively with Operations, E&I, Engineering, Scheduling, Contractors and OEM representatives.\nCoach, mentor and support apprentices, trainees and developing planners.\nMaintain competencies as per role requirements.\nRole model inclusive behaviours and contribute to a respectful team culture.\nSkills and Experience\nCertificate III Mechanical Trade \nCurrent First Aid. Experience with Permit to Work systems, JHA/JSA and safe systems of work.\nExperience in LNG, oil and gas, petrochemical, utilities, mining, heavy industry or process plant environments.\nExperience planning or executing maintenance on diesel engines, turbines, rotating equipment, loading arms and other mechanical systems in an industrial environment.\nMechanical Maintenance Execution. \nSkilled in CMMS use. \nSkilled in work assessment, planning and work pack development. \nKnowledge of scheduling, risk management, turnaround practice, and managing change. \nDemonstrated ability to lead without authority. \nProactive stakeholder engagement and problem-solving. \nDrives shared outcomes across teams.\n What we offer\nYou bring your skills and experience to Shell and in return you work with talented, committed people on one of the most important challenges facing our planet.
