The role also drives AI-enabled operations transformation by applying automation, generative AI, AI agents and intelligent monitoring to reduce manual effort and create a more proactive, efficient operations model.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nOwn the end-to-end IT operational landscape, aligning priorities, service performance and stakeholder expectations with business needs.\nManage service governance, budgets, suppliers, contracts and commercial accountabilities to ensure reliable and cost-effective operations.\nLead incident, problem, change and release management, focusing on root-cause elimination, resilience, risk, security and compliance.\nEnsure new and changed services are support-ready, with clear ownership, documentation, disaster recovery and business continuity readiness.\nDefine and deliver a practical AI-enabled operations roadmap, including intelligent monitoring, predictive incident management, knowledge automation and automated remediation.\nWork with engineering and delivery teams to embed AI and automation into daily operations, measuring improvements in productivity, service quality, reliability and cost efficiency.\nWhat you bring\nYou are an experienced technology operations professional who can manage complex enterprise services, influence stakeholders and turn emerging technology into measurable operational improvement.\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or a related discipline, with at least 7 years’ experience in IT operations, service management or production operations.\nPractical experience managing enterprise application landscapes and improving service performance in complex environments.\nStrong knowledge of service management practices; Information Technology Infrastructure Library certification is required.\nGood understanding of infrastructure, cloud platforms, identity and access management, networking and enterprise architecture.\nExperience working in agile delivery environments; Certified ScrumMaster or Scaled Agile Framework certification is required.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, supplier-management skills, and fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin.\nThe following AI, automation and digital operations experience would be an advantage:\nExperience with AIOps, observability or incident-management platforms such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, Moogsoft or PagerDuty.\nHands-on knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Power Automate or similar AI and low-code automation tools.\nExposure to intelligent workflows, large language models, AI agents, cloud platforms and automation-led service improvement.\nBackground in site reliability engineering, platform operations, observability engineering, automation engineering or digital transformation.\nWhat we offer\nYou bring your skills and experience to Shell and in return you work with talented, committed people on one of the most important challenges facing our planet.
