standards, and practices\nOperate and monitor process and associated equipment for job area\nBe trained and qualified in all functions of the Operator classification, and operate these functions as assigned\nPerform in-process analytical testing, analyze in-process test results, and apply appropriate corrective actions\nPerform minor routine, running, and preventive maintenance work\nMaintain all necessary records, and provide a detailed summary of the shift in logbooks and electronically in end of shift Reports, including but not limited to safety, quality, mechanical problems/repairs, and process changes\nReview with oncoming shift operator a detailed summary of the shift including but not limited to safety, quality, mechanical problems/repairs, and process changes\nMaintain all assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition, with aisles and passageways unobstructed\nReceive training to be certified and operate any powered industrial vehicles required for the completion of work assignments\nReceive and utilize training for the operation of computer software and hardware tools of the job, including, but not limited to, process control hardware/software, process analytical software, email, and inter/intranet\nPackage and load materials using heavy equipment, including forklifts\nWhat we need from you\nMust have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer\nMust be at least 18 years old\nMust possess a high school diploma or GED\nMust possess a current, valid driver’s license\nMust be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues\nMust have a minimum of three (3) years of current experience as a Process/Production Operator in a catalyst, petrochemical, refining, general chemical or other manufacturing related work environment is preferred OR have an Associate of Applied Science degree in Process Technology\nWilling to work outside in inclement weather with or without Please review your Workday tasks, directions and instructions to ensure you complete the required test within the provided timeframe***\nThis position starting pay rate is $32.26 per hour going up to $33.61 per hour after 210 days and up to 18 months; further pay increases occur beyond this time depending upon the position with a current “top rate” of $37.59 per hour.\nFor regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.\nAdditionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
