The role supports the execution of Global Product Management priorities across lubricant portfolios, including PCMO, HDDEO, Brake Oils, Transmissions, Marine, Coolants, Industrial Lubricants, and Greases, depending on business requirements and job grade.\nThe position focuses on data-driven portfolio management, knowledge management, compliance coordination, analytics, and digital enablement to ensure consistency, scalability, and governance across regions while driving execution against defined KPIs and SLAs. By coordinating cross-functional, cross-regional, and system-related activities, Product Implementation Managers enable Global Product Managers (GPMs) and Associate GPMs to focus on portfolio strategy, innovation, customer engagement, and long-term business growth.\nIn addition, PIMs provide system-level portfolio management and implementation support to regional FPIMs and RAPMs, ensuring effective integration between global strategy and regional execution. At more senior levels, the role also provides guidance and support to the wider PIM community, drives capability development, and contributes to portfolio optimization, digital transformation, and strategic planning initiatives across the Global Product Management organization.\nWhat you’ll be doing\n\nPortfolio Management & Product Lifecycle Support\nManage the deployment, maintenance, and governance of regional and global product portfolios across business systems, including full GPC data ownership.\nSupport and maintain Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes, ensuring portfolio data accuracy, integrity, and governance compliance.\nProvide implementation support for product launches, portfolio changes, and withdrawal of obsolete products.\nSupport a range of lubricant portfolios including PCMO, HDDEO, Brake Oils, Transmissions, Marine, Coolants, Industrial Lubricants, Greases, and other assigned portfolios based on business priorities.\nData Governance, Analytics & Portfolio Optimization\nEnsure accurate and consistent portfolio data management across multiple systems and regions.\nDevelop, maintain, and analyse KPI and SLA dashboards to support portfolio performance monitoring and decision-making.\nDrive analytics and insights to support formulation cost optimization, portfolio rationalization, and business performance improvement.\nProvide structured analysis and recommendations to support regional and global portfolio planning activities.\nStrategic Portfolio Support\nSupport Global Product Managers (GPMs) and Associate GPMs in developing and executing 5+ year portfolio strategies and roadmap plans.\nProvide implementation, risk, feasibility, and execution perspectives to support strategic portfolio decisions.\nContribute to portfolio optimization initiatives through data-driven insights and business recommendations.\nCompliance, Quality & Governance\nCoordinate and maintain compliance documentation, including SDS, product registrations, certifications, approvals, waivers, and governance records.\nManage and maintain digital PPAP records and quality-related portfolio documentation.\nEnsure adherence to internal governance, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.\nMaintain central repositories for formulations, approvals, compliance records, and portfolio documentation.\nPPAP, Licensing & Project Support\nSupport and/or coordinate PPAP activities for automotive-related products, including readiness assessments, documentation, quality assurance requirements, and implementation activities.\nOwn or support product licensing activities, including documentation management, approvals, renewals, and implementation support.\nProvide support for Joint Venture (JV), portfolio implementation, and special project activities where applicable.\nCoordinate with manufacturing sites, quality teams, FPIMs, RAPMs, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and compliance.\nDigital Enablement & Continuous Improvement\nAct as a key user, trainer, and subject matter resource for portfolio management and digital tools.\nCollaborate with digital and system development teams to identify and implement tool enhancements.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across portfolio management processes, systems, governance practices, and workflows.\nSupport capability-building and digital adoption initiatives across regional and global teams.\nStakeholder Collaboration & Execution Support\nProvide system-level portfolio management and implementation support to FPIMs, RAPMs, and regional stakeholders.\nCoordinate cross-functional activities involving Product Management, Technology, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Commercial, and Procurement teams.\nSupport additive transitions, supplier escalations, and portfolio-related implementation activities in collaboration with GAAMs and other stakeholders.\nOrganize governance forums, stakeholder reviews, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to drive alignment and best-practice adoption.\nLeadership & Capability Building (Senior PIM Levels)\nAct as a senior PIM for complex or high-value portfolios, providing guidance, coaching, and support to less experienced PIMs.\nLead strategic initiatives focused on portfolio transformation, governance excellence, and digital enablement.\nSupport long-term capability development across the PIM community.\nInfluence portfolio management, governance, and implementation decisions through thought leadership, analytics, and subject matter expertise.\nChampion best practices and drive consistency across regions, functions, and portfolio teams.\nWhat you bring\nA background in physical or chemical product testing, product development, or a formal qualification in technical sciences, engineering, chemistry, mathematics, or a related discipline would be an advantage.\nStrong understanding of lubricant product specifications, formulations, manufacturing processes, and product quality requirements.\nFamiliarity with blending operations, supply chain processes, and product lifecycle management concepts.\nUnderstanding of analytical test methods, quality procedures, and Quality Assurance standards and processes.\nStrong analytical mindset with proficiency in data handling, reporting, data governance, and performance analysis.\nAbility to handle, collate, manipulate, and interpret large volumes of data accurately and with strong attention to detail.\nExperience in developing insights and recommendations through data analysis to support operational and portfolio decisions.\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global, regional, and cross-functional teams.\nExperience working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, technical teams, and business partners.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nDemonstrated continuous improvement mindset with experience in process optimization, workflow improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new concepts, analyze situations, and recommend practical solutions.\nExperience with digital
