Lead medium-to-large projects of moderate-to-high complexity within the Lubricants China portfolio and, if needed, at corporate level, ensuring delivery of business value through disciplined project management and stakeholder engagement.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nPlan, execute, monitor, and close projects across Lubricants China’s landscape (e.g., Sales Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Operation).\n\nManage scope rigorously through structured change processes.\n\nDevelop and maintain stakeholder engagement plans; ensure clear communication across regional and global teams.\n\nCreate and validate financial forecasts; track resource utilization.\n\nIdentify and mitigate risks proactively; escalate issues promptly.\n\nEnsure compliance with Shell Project Delivery Framework and governance standards.\n\nOffer strong leadership to both the internal team and external vendors, mentor junior staff members, and take necessary action when performance falls outside of agreed limits.\n\nWhat you bring\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.\n\n8+ years in project management with exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder environments.\n\nProven experience in managing sizeable teams (Typical project size: 10-20 FTE) and large budgets (>$2m).\n\nStrong skills in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.\n\nLeadership of interdependent and virtual teams deliver results through others.\n\nComprehensive end-to-end delivery expertise encompassing RFI/RFP processes, project scoping, team formation, requirements definition, design, build, and transition to support.\n\nVirtual team management experience as well as global partnership experience.\n\nPMI/PMP certification preferred.\n\nExcellent communication and influencing skills; ability to work in a matrix organization.\n\nProficiency in English (spoken and written).\n\nStrong collaboration mindset.\n\nAbility to navigate ambiguity and drive results.\n\nCommitment to Shell’s safety, ethics, and inclusion principles.\n\nWhat we offer\nYou bring your skills and experience to Shell and in return you work with talented, committed people on one of the most important challenges facing our planet.
