Shell Low Carbon Solutions Biogas is Denmark's largest producer of biogas and currently supplies more than 25 per cent of the biogas to the Danish gas grid. Both the number of plants, the amount of biogas and turnover are constantly and rapidly growing, so you will be part of an energetic organization with competent colleagues throughout the country. You will be based in our Aarhus or Odense office.\nThe role\nYou will have a central role in the development of the operations organization, anchored in the Operational & Technical Support department. You will have an important task in the operation and continued development of maintenance programs, executing large maintenance projects on our sites, as well as development and optimization of production locally and across the biogas plants. You will report directly into the Asset Management Technical Support Manager.\nYour detailed responsibilities will include:\nIdentify opportunities for improvements, including optimization of biogas plants, so that cost-reducing and capacity-increasing measures are taken\nDrive and develop maintenance programs based on risk assessment of facilities and components according to company procedures and maintenance strategy, and legal requirements\nDrive multidisciplinary maintenance and improvement projects from concept to final implementation in collaboration with both the local operations organizations across Europe and our internal Engineering department based in Denmark\nEnsure knowledge sharing between Asset Management Technical Support and the project teams in connection with the design of new biogas plants and major refurbishments\nDevelop necessary systems and processes related to workflows and document management, and other activities as appropriate\nFollow-up and support for operations in complying with regulatory requirements\nContribute to the development of the safety and performance culture in the organization\nCollaboration across the organization\nTogether with your colleagues in Asset Management Technical Support, you will help develop and operate the entire biogas organization’s maintenance program as well as support, technical problem-solving and optimization at the individual biogas plants.\nRequirements:\nYou have a relevant technical background as a mechanical engineer, marine engineer or similar and experience with operation and maintenance of process plants, including experience with maintenance systems and know the underlying routines and processes. Experience with biogas production is a plus, but not a requirement.\nAdditionally, you will bring:\nExperience with RCM principles towards maintenance planning is a win, but not mandatory\nExperience with technical project management and work in a goal-oriented and structured way to meet agreed schedules\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team, where you share knowledge and create results through collaboration\nYou thrive on challenges and are passionate about solving technical problems\nYou thrive in an environment where new tasks are constantly on the horizon and where not two days are ever the same\nAbility to think holistically, also across the organisation, and to build good relationships with others.
