The role provides schedule visibility, critical path control, and scenario analysis to support safe, efficient, and predictable turnaround execution.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nSchedule Development & Control\nDevelop and maintain the fully logic-linked, resource-loaded turnaround schedule\n\nIntegrate all approved scope, work packages, and project activities into the master schedule\n\nEstablish schedule milestones, phase gates, and schedule freeze points\n\nEnsure schedule alignment with turnaround execution strategy and constraints\n\nAudit turnaround planners input into Primavera P6 e.g. codes, resources, wbs, cbs etc.\n\nProvide Primavera export data to Controls team\n\nIntegrated, logic driven turnaround schedules\n\nCritical path and schedule risk analyses\n\nDaily, weekly, and milestone progress reports\n\nSchedule recovery plans and scenario analyses\n\nCritical Path & Risk Management\nIdentify and manage critical path and near-critical path activities\n\nPerform schedule risk analysis, logic reviews, and sensitivity studies\n\nHighlight schedule threats, float erosion, and recovery opportunities\n\nSupport contingency and mitigation planning\n\nPerform Schedule Mechanics Checks with SEAM\n\nProgress Measurement & Reporting\nEstablish progress measurement rules and update methodologies\n\nCollect, validate, and update schedule progress during execution\n\nProduce schedule reports, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules\n\nCommunicate schedule status, variances, and forecast completion\n\nIntegration & Coordination\nCoordinate with turnaround planners to ensure accurate activity logic and durations\n\nAlign schedule with contractor plans, execution sequencing, and field realities\n\nInterface with cost control and readiness teams\n\nSupport management decision-making through schedule scenarios and options\n\nChange & Re-planning\nIncorporate approved scope changes into the working and baseline schedules\n\nRe-sequence and recover schedules in response to emergent or discovered work\n\nMaintain schedule integrity and version control\n\nPost-Turnaround & Continuous Improvement\nSupport post-turnaround schedule analysis and lessons learned\n\nCapture schedule performance metrics for future estimating and planning\n\nImprove scheduling standards, templates, and best practices\n\nWhat you bring\nThe candidate must have legal authorization to work in the Canada on a full-time basis\n\nBachelor’s degree or 3 or more years of relevant industry experience\n\nStrong expertise in turnaround and shutdown scheduling principles\n\nAdvanced proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6; MS Project secondary)\n\nDeep understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling\n\nAbility to challenge logic, durations, and execution sequencing\n\nStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills\n\nAbility to perform under high pressure and tight deadlines\n\nAfter you submit your application, you will receive an email providing a link to an online assessment that is a mandatory part of the process and must be successfully completed within 3 days of receiving the initial assessment invite.
