Keep reading...\nQA Engineer\nYour Role\n As a QA Engineer at Shelly, you make sure the platforms behind our smart-home ecosystem are reliable, scalable, and ready for millions of users. You combine manual testing with JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation across web applications, REST APIs, and services, catching issues early and helping us deliver rock-solid experiences before new features reach production.\nYour Responsibilities:\nYou develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases across our web applications, APIs, services, and connected-device ecosystem\nYou build and maintain reliable automated tests using JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright\nYou test REST APIs and integrations to verify functionality, reliability, and expected system behavior\nYou collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define the right testing approach\nYou identify, reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution\nYou perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing throughout the development lifecycle\nYou create and maintain test documentation, test plans, and testing scenarios\nYou integrate automated testing into development and CI/CD workflows\nYou participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns clearly\nYou help build and maintain test environments and physical IoT test setups when needed\nYou contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies\nWhat makes you a great fit:\nYou bring 3+ years of experience in QA engineering, software testing, or a similar role\nYou have strong hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation\nYou have practical experience with Playwright for web application testing\nYou are confident testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools\nYou understand QA methodologies, test design techniques, and the software development lifecycle\nYou have experience creating, maintaining, and executing both manual and automated test cases\nYou know how to identify, document, reproduce, and track bugs effectively\nYou are comfortable using GitLab or similar platforms for source control, issue tracking, and development workflows\nYou have experience using Confluence or similar tools for documentation and team collaboration\nYou work comfortably in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate well with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders\nYou have a strong eye for detail and enjoy finding the edge cases others might miss\nYou bring experience with Jest or other JavaScript testing frameworks as an advantage\nYou understand CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration, ideally using GitLab CI/CD\nYou bring experience with Selenium or Appium for cross-browser or mobile application testing as an advantage\nYou have knowledge of Python, particularly Pytest and Selenium, as an advantage\nYou understand IoT and connected-device testing as an advantage\nYou have experience wiring electrical appliances or building physical test setups as an advantage\nWhat is in it for you\nWork:A welcoming, collaborative team\nMeaningful products and services that people actually use and love.\nLearning opportunities to sharpen your skills\nCompetitive salary + Performance bonuses\nModern office in a great location\nFun team buildings and company events\nLifestyle:26 days of paid annual leave\nFlexible working hours\nAdditional health insurance\nFree access to all Shelly devices (yes, you can smarten up your whole home!)\nMultisport Card\nFully sponsored yearly public transport card\nReady to join the Shelly Revolution?\nLet’s build the future of smart living together.\nHit that Apply button -
