To strengthen our team, we are looking for 1 Research Manager.\nThe Research Manager will lead, and coordinate research initiatives aimed at improving the rose crop productivity, sustainability and innovation. He/she will be responsible for designing, running, supervising and overseeing research projects, analysing data and presenting research findings to Sher Ethiopia management. Responsibilities:\nDegree/Master’s in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Statistics\n>5 years in a research environment, preferably in the private sector\nWorking experience as a Team Lead / Manager of a team of workers\nFor 2 years\nDevelops and implements strategic research plans aligned with company goals.\nDesigns, manages and oversees multiple field trials and experiments from beginning to end, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met including collecting and analysing data and presenting findings.\nCollects data on selected new varieties and codes being tested or grown in the trial houses on yields, stem length, head size disease and insect resistance for managements use in determining new commercial selections.\nOversees data collection statistical analysis and interpretation of all research findings\nOversees data collection statistical analysis and interpretation of all research findings \nDevelops methodologies to ensure research methods are consistent, accurate, and reliable.\nAnalyses data using statistical methods and software, such as SPSS, Tableau and XLSTAT, to identify trends and patterns.\nMonitors project progress, prepare detailed reports, provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management on research progress and findings.\nLeads, mentors and supervises research staff including hiring and training of new employees and maintaining a positive work environment.\nStays up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging research methods\nEnsure that research projects meet all ethical and legal
