Our teams serve utility, industrial, commercial, renewable energy, and other mission-critical operations across Canada.\nAbout the Role\nShermco Canada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Field Scheduling Coordinator to support field service operations across the country.\nThis position is responsible for maintaining field technician schedules, processing approved scheduling changes, and ensuring information is entered accurately and promptly in Salesforce Field Service and related tracking systems. The coordinator will communicate regularly with Field Service Managers across Canada to support workforce planning, resource visibility, and consistent scheduling practices.\nThis is an administrative coordination position. Field Service Managers will continue to make decisions regarding technician skills, crew composition, project priorities, job requirements, and customer commitments.\nWhat We Offer\nEligible employees may have access to:\nExtended health, dental, and vision coverage\nLife, disability, and accident insurance\nRetirement savings program with company contributions\nEmployee and Family Assistance Program\nPaid vacation and personal time\nHybrid work arrangement\nCareer development opportunities within a growing Canadian field service organization\nA collaborative and safety-focused work environment\nResponsibilities\nMaintain accurate and current field technician schedules in Salesforce Field Service.\nEnter, update, and verify technician, project, assignment, and scheduling information.\nProcess scheduling changes approved by Field Service Managers.\nCommunicate regularly with Field Service Managers across Canada regarding technician availability, schedule changes, project requirements, and resource needs.\nCoordinate technician assignments across branches based on direction from operations leadership.\nIdentify scheduling conflicts, gaps, incomplete information, and overdue updates, and communicate them to the appropriate manager.\nTrack technician availability, planned leave, training, travel, and other scheduling considerations.\nSupport workforce and resource planning by providing clear and accurate scheduling information.\nMaintain data quality, consistency, and confidentiality across scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and internal records.\nPrepare scheduling reports and summaries for operational leaders.\nFollow up with managers and internal stakeholders to obtain missing or updated scheduling information.\nSupport consistent scheduling processes and administrative practices across Canadian branches.\nAssist with seasonal workload increases, emergency schedule changes, and other operational requirements.\nContribute to scheduling process improvements and Salesforce Field Service adoption.\nProvide additional administrative and operational support as required.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPost-secondary education in business administration, operations, logistics, or a related field is considered an asset.\nPrevious experience in scheduling, dispatch, workforce coordination, operations administration, or a similar role.\nExperience using Salesforce or Salesforce Field Service is strongly preferred.\nStrong data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.\nProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.\nExperience supporting field service, skilled trades, construction, utilities, industrial services, or geographically dispersed teams is considered an asset.\nExperience coordinating schedules across multiple offices, regions, or time zones is considered an asset.\nKnowledge and Skills\nExcellent organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to build effective working relationships with Field Service Managers, technicians, and operational teams across Canada.\nAbility to manage frequent schedule changes and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify scheduling conflicts or missing information.\nAbility to follow operational direction while exercising sound administrative judgment.\nAbility to work independently while remaining collaborative and responsive.\nStrong commitment to accurate recordkeeping, confidentiality, and data integrity.\nCustomer-service mindset with a professional and solutions-focused approach.\nAbility to remain calm and organized when responding to urgent or short-notice scheduling changes.\nWork Requirements\nThis is a hybrid position based from any Shermco office in Canada.\nRegular communication and collaboration with teams located across multiple Canadian time zones will be required.\nOccasional flexibility outside standard business hours may be required to support urgent field scheduling needs.\nLimited travel to other Shermco Canada offices may be required.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nShermco Canada is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible workplace.
