This position is responsible for coordinating purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting cost-saving initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.\nThis role is onsite at our Irving Texas office.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.\nSupport vendor onboarding, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and alignment with Shermco’s procurement policies.\nTrack purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal stakeholders.\nPartner with internal teams (HR, Operations, Finance) to ensure procurement needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.\nMaintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor data for audit readiness and compliance.\nAssist in monitoring supplier performance, addressing issues, and supporting vendor evaluation.\nContribute to cost savings and efficiency improvement initiatives, supporting Shermco’s operational and financial goals.\nServe as a point of contact for supplier inquiries regarding order status, invoicing, and payments.\nQualifications\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.\n2+ years of procurement, supply chain, or administrative coordination experience.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/Procurement systems preferred.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER | DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE\nShermco is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
