staff, employees, and business relationships.\nUtilize Programmable Logic Controls (\"PLC\") and Human-Machine Interface (\"HMI\") skills and knowledge to optimize control and quality systems\nAnalyze plant processes, design, and implement improvements\nTroubleshoot issues with hardware and processes\nOptimize processes to attain lower manufacturing costs, increased productivity, and reduced cycle times\nIdentify training needs and develop training and standard operating procedures for employees to ensure effective use of continuous process improvement methodologies\nIdentify, communicate, and overcome obstacles that may prohibit meeting production requirements\nPartner with operating employees to identify opportunities and improve processes via training or capital expenditure recommendations\nMaintain quality and safety standards\n Minimum Requirements:\nMust be at least eighteen (18) years of age\nMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future\nMust have a bachelor's degree or higher or at least four (4) years of work experience in engineering\nMust have at least one (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, operations function or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an Engineering function\nMust have formal training in or at least one (1) year of work experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (\"PLC\") and/or Human-Machine Interface (\"HMI\")\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHave completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.\nHave a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering\nHave at least three (3) years of work experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment \nHave at least three (3) years of work experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (\"PLC\") and/or Human-Machine Interface (\"HMI\")\nHave prior work experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing and/or distribution
