Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, formulation, testing and product application of colorant dispersion and/or paint products. This position requires the candidate to communicate effectively both orally and in written reports.\nJob duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. staff, employees, and business relationships.\nSupporting R&D lab projects to evaluate, develop, and validate colorant formulas.\nBatch-making and testing to include weighing, mixing, pouring, tinting, drawing down and evaluating.\nAccurate documentation of lab results and technical information.\nWritten documentation and verbal presentation of information and the ability to adapt to various audiences.\nParticipating in continuous improvement projects to benefit the group and company.\nDeveloping knowledge and understanding of product lines and colorant systems.\nOther duties as assigned\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)\nBachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math field.\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\n+1 years of experience in pigment dispersion and/or coating formulation, application, and testing\nBasic knowledge of statistics and data analysis\nMust be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to determine the difference between colors so you can correctly tint paint to the colors desired by customers.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s Degree in Chemistry\n3 or more years of experience in pigment dispersion formulation/product development and/or raw material projects.\nProject leadership/management experience\nExperience with pigment dispersions or coatings for both architectural and industrial applications.\nDemonstrated working knowledge of quality management skills such as SPC, FMEA, DOE, Six-sigma, and use of statistical software such as Minitab\nTravel Requirements: 10%\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H-1B visa.\nThis position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable
