In lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of experience in application development or application engineering \n6+ years of experience in software development, specifically in application development engineering in a manufacturing environment (SCADA)\nExpertise in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby\nExpertise in software development tools such as Git or Jenkins\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams\nAbility to mentor and coach junior developers \nPreferred Qualifications:\nSpecific knowledge/experience: Ignition 8.1 / Perspective Python, Java, JavaScript, C / C++, SQL, and MQTT protocol. A working knowledge of JIRA is a plus but not required.
