They oversee teams whose goal is to lead the design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and software components and establish objectives, policies and procedures. They frequently advise teams on moderately complex matters relating to the development, integration, and implementation of application components of web-centric applications.\n Leadership & Supervision\nTactical decision-maker, Handles unforeseen issues.\nManages activities of two or more disciplines or a department. Oversees experienced level professionals and/or may be responsible for subordinate managers.\nFrequently advises team(s) on moderately complex matters.\nResponsible for supporting the talent strategy through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices.\nResponsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.\nResponsible for setting employee objectives and expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing meaningful feedback, and mentorship.\nResponsible for supporting employee career development.\nErroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.\nKnowledge & Application\nEstablishes operational objectives, policies, procedures and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates.\nDevelops, modifies and executes company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.\nAccountable for department budget which may be broad and have far reaching impact on the business segment.\nWorks on issues where analysis of situations or data requires conceptual thinking and an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of experience in IT \n7+ years of experience in IT\n3+ years of experience managing direct reports\n7+ years of experience in software engineering or application development, with experience leading small to mid-sized teams.\nProven experience managing hybrid teams (onshore and offshore), including workload balancing, delivery oversight, and performance management.\nExperience supporting Supply Chain Planning and Purchasing systems in an enterprise environment.\nDemonstrated ability to operate in a hands-on leadership role (30-40%), contributing to architecture, design reviews, and complex troubleshooting.\nExperience owning and operating within a 24/7 production support model, including incident triage, escalation, and resolution.\nProven ability to balance business enhancements, technical debt remediation, and production support.\nExperience leading or contributing to application modernization or transformation initiatives.\nStrong stakeholder communication skills, with experience partnering across business and IT functions. \nStrong expertise in PL/SQL development, including performance tuning and optimization.\nWorking experience with Oracle APEX for application development and support.\nExperience with REST API integrations and supporting distributed application ecosystems.\nUnderstanding of integration patterns, including custom integration layers and data orchestration.\nWorking knowledge of Windows Server environments supporting enterprise applications.\nFamiliarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery practices. \nExperience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and structured release processes. \nPreferred Qualifications:\n7+ years of experience in software engineering with progression into leadership roles.\nDirect experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) platforms, including configuration, support, upgrades, or migration.\nTechno-functional understanding of Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Purchasing, Inventory, Supply Planning).\nExperience leading or contributing to on-prem to cloud migrations, particularly in supply chain or ERP ecosystems.\nExperience driving integration modernization toward API-first or cloud-native architectures.\nFamiliarity with ITIL-based service management practices.\nProven track record improving system stability, support efficiency, and platform scalability. \nExperience with integration platforms such as IBM MQ, or Azure Integration Services.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS) and cloud-native design principles.\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployments.\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise data environments and performance optimization.\nUnderstanding of API security, authentication mechanisms, and integration governance. \nExperience with integration platforms such as IBM MQ, or Azure Integration Services.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS) and cloud-native design principles.\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployments.\nExperience supporting large-scale
