This tech will work on various computer systems and technologies to perform configurations, integrations, system upgrades, and asset management. This position reports directly to the Lead Integration Tech and is primarily responsible for basic technical configurations (see job responsibilities for details), kitting, and custom labeling.Role Description\nPerform system imaging using tools such as Ghost, USB boot, and PXE boot, in accordance with technical procedures and project requirements\n\nInstall and upgrade computer hardware components, including memory, hard drives, and NICs, following manufacturer guidelines and best practices\n\nConfigure software and operating systems on a range of computer and mobile devices, ensuring compatibility and proper setup\n\nConduct BIOS configurations and upgrades based on device specifications and update protocols\n\nUtilize Microsoft Dynamics AX for order tracking, asset check-in/check-out, and accurate asset information recording\n\nTag assets and manage asset inventory throughout their lifecycle, maintaining detailed records and supporting asset management processes\n\nUnpack, pack, and kit hardware and components, preparing equipment for deployment or shipping according to project needs\n\nCommunicate regularly with management to escalate issues, provide status updates, and ensure customer order requirements are met\n\nInterpret technical instructions, manuals, and troubleshooting guides to resolve issues and support project execution\n\nIndependently acquire new technical skills and adapt to evolving technologies to maintain high levels of competency\n\nBehaviors and Competencies\nTeamwork: Can understand the importance of teamwork and is developing the ability to contribute effectively to team efforts.\n\nInitiative: Can demonstrate a willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities when assigned.\n\nTime Management: Can understand the importance of time management and strives to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.\n\nCritical Thinking: Can understand and identify the strengths and weaknesses of an argument.\n\nTechnical Expertise: Can understand the basic concepts in a technical area and seeks guidance when applying them.\n\nInformation Gathering: Can demonstrate a willingness to gather necessary information when assigned.\n\nWillingness to Learn: Can demonstrate interest in learning new things and seeks opportunities for personal and professional development.\n\nFollow-Through: Can demonstrate a willingness to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities on time.\n\nTechnical Troubleshooting: Can demonstrate a willingness to identify and address simple technical problems when they occur.\n\nDetail-Oriented: Can demonstrate an ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.\n\nMulti-Tasking: Can demonstrate a willingness to take on multiple tasks and responsibilities when assigned.\n\nSkill Level Requirements\nSkilled in utilizing SharePoint for collaborative projects, document management, and enhancing team productivity - Basic\n\nAbility to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently - Basic\n\nAbility to diagnose, address, and resolve technical problems or malfunctions in systems or processes - Basic\n\nProficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics AX for enterprise resource planning, including tasks such as order tracking, inventory management, and financial reporting - Basic\n\nAbility to efficiently use shipping software from major carriers to manage logistics, track shipments, and handle order fulfillment processes - Basic\n\nExpertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, storage solutions, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability - Basic\n\nAbility to read and understand cable matrices, structured cable routing experience, and basic understanding of IP addressing concepts for managing network and data center configurations. - Basic\n\nPreferred Skills:\nFamiliarity with the operational mechanisms, hierarchical setup, and the overall framework of SHI, enabling effective navigation and utilization of internal processes - Basic\n\n Other Requirements\nAssociate degree in Computer Science or a related field, completion of an accredited trade school computer training program, or equivalent relevant work experience required.\n\n6 months disassembling and/or assembling computers and configuring Windows operating systems\n\nExperience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT Hardware preferred\n\nAbility to move or lift up to 50 lbs.\n\nAbility to stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods of time\n\nThe base salary range for this position is $39,000 - $50,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary, are $39,000 - $50,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
