This role involves executing order changes, recording serial numbers, and providing coverage for other warehouse roles during high-volume periods. The Inventory Advisor must demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Role Description\nPerform inventory cycle counts for accuracy and verification\n\nComplete transfer requests submitted by sales, configuration staff, customers\n\nRe-label and store invoiced products going back into stock under customer owned variants\n\nCompile and provide stock being returned to vendors to our returns department\n\nRestock bins with minimum quantity required\n\nReceive and record serial number in the Warehouse Management System for designated customer projects\n\nRemove obsolete products from inventory as directed\n\nExecute last-minute order changes\n\nProvide coverage for other warehouse roles in times of high volume\n\nComplete forklift safety and operation training within 30 days of hire\n\nBehaviors and Competencies\nAnalytical Thinking: Can understand and interpret basic data or information.\n\nAttention to Detail: Can demonstrate an ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.\n\nData Analysis: Can understand basic data sets and use simple analytical techniques to extract insights.\n\nOrganization: Can maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow simple organizational systems when assigned.\n\nCommunication: Can communicate simple ideas and information clearly.\n\nProblem-Solving: Can demonstrate a willingness to address and resolve problems when they arise.\n\nTime Management: Can understand the importance of time management and strives to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Can identify minor areas for improvement and implement minor changes.\n\nTechnical Expertise: Can understand the basic concepts in a technical area and seeks guidance when applying them.\n\nAdaptability: Can demonstrate a willingness to accept feedback and adjust to new tasks or changes in the workplace.\n\nSkill Level Requirements\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment - Basic\n\nAbility to take direction and follow instructions - Basic\n\nAbility to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency - Basic\n\nAbility to work independently or as part of a team - Basic\n\nAbility to show initiative to complete tasks without direct instruction - Basic\n\nAbility to understand and apply management feedback - Basic\n\nAbility to demonstrate a professional attitude - Basic\n\nAbility to operate industrial-powered equipment - Basic\n\nAbility to multitask and prioritize work - Basic\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint - Basic\n\n Other Requirements\nWarehouse experience preferred\n\nCompleted High School Diploma or equivalent education\n\nMust be able to communicate (verbal/written) in English\n\nAbility to operate a computer and navigate in a Windows based platform\n\nComplete forklift safety and operation training within 30 days of hire\n\nOvertime and weekend work are available, and may be required throughout the year\n\nPosition requires the ability to move or lift up to 50lbs\n\nThe estimated hourly pay range for this position is $18.25 - $23.25 plus a quarterly bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
