This role owns technical direction, delivery excellence, and people leadership across VCF Infrastructure Modernization and Hybrid Cloud services utilizing VMware by Broadcom's Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) solutions.The Services Manager partners closely with sales, solution architects, and delivery leadership to ensure the practice delivers secure, scalable, and high-impact outcomes for enterprise, corporate, and commercial clients leveraging VMware by Broadcom technologies.\nThis role manages and mentors Solutions Architects, Consultants, and Engineers and is responsible for building, sustaining, and growing SHI's service delivery capabilities around VMware by Broadcom technologies.\nRole Description\nLead the day-to-day operations of the VCF services practice, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all engagements.\nDefine and evolve the technical and delivery standards for Broadcom VCF services, including VCF 9.x, vSAN, SDDC Manager, and vSphere solutions.\nManage, mentor, and develop Solutions Architects, Consultants, and Engineers across Cloud Foundation domains, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.\nOwn practice capability development across Broadcom VCF services, including VCF 9.x, vSAN, SDDC Manager, and vSphere 9.\nPartner with sales and solution architecture teams to shape offerings, support presales efforts, and ensure delivery readiness for complex Broadcom VCF services engagements.\nMonitor delivery performance, utilization, and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive overall practice health.\nLead the creation and maintenance of reusable architectures, delivery frameworks, templates, and accelerators across the VCF services practice.\nServe as an escalation point for complex client challenges related to Broadcom VCF solutions.\nBuild strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor for Broadcom VCF strategy and execution.\nBehaviors and Competencies\nLeadership - Leads teams through ambiguity, sets clear technical and delivery direction, and drives accountability.\nStrategic Thinking - Anticipates platform and market shifts and aligns practice strategy with long-term business goals.\nCustomer-Centric Mindset - Ensures services and solutions deliver measurable client outcomes and long-term value.\nCollaboration - Works effectively across sales, architecture, delivery, and partner teams to achieve shared outcomes.\nContinuous Improvement - Identifies opportunities to improve delivery quality, efficiency, and scalability across the practice.\nCommunication - Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.\nSkill Level Requirements\nExpert understanding of Broadcom services engagements and delivery methodologies.\nThorough knowledge of Broadcom's VMware Services Entitlement Program.\nExpert ability to lead and scale consultative delivery teams.\nExpert relationship management skills with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.\nExpert ability to oversee complex, multi-workstream delivery engagements.\nStrong understanding of organizational operations, market positioning, competitive dynamics, and business processes to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.\nAbility to design and implement long-term workforce and organizational initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.\nProven ability to direct projects through completion while ensuring effective resource utilization, successful outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction.\nOther Requirements\nBachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of experience delivering VMware by Broadcom solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment.\n3+ years of experience leading or managing technical delivery teams.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional leadership team.\nWillingness to travel to client sites as needed.\nCommitment to continuous learning and technical leadership within the cloud and infrastructure ecosystem.\nExperience designing and delivering solutions with strong data governance and security controls.\nStrong understanding of Broadcom's vision for VMware Cloud Foundation.\nProven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to travel up to 20%.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience building or leading a Broadcom VCF consulting practice.\nExperience supporting commercial and corporate clients.\nExperience with Broadcom's VMware Cloud Foundation suite of solutions.\nBroadcom certifications in VMware-related disciplines.\nThe base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $185,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $200,000 - $230,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
