This role will be expected to align and synchronize demand planning with supply chain optimization and shipment planning, to enhance the customer experience.This position will rely heavily on Operational Excellence techniques (i. e. KaizenLean 6 Sigma with working knowledge of Kanban methodologies.) to improve processes and remove delays within our organization, as well as the management of strategic data enhancement projects, primarily in the areas of supply chain and customer master data management. The individual will be tasked with managing initiatives and projects in the areas of process improvement, demand planning, forecast and project planning. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for providing data definitions, acting as a liaison between stakeholders, establishing quality expectations, and monitoring compliance to those expectations. This position will report to IDCS Manager - Demand Planner.\nRole Description\nResponsible for working with sales, operations, I. T., and finance groups to facilitate the overall management strategy and approach to enhancing processes between functions and managing the supply chain.\n\nDevelop shipment planning processes that begin at the time the order is placed.\n\nIdentify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes, and standards.\n\nReview project forecasts and timelines to ensure all parties are accounting for equipment lead times and logistics\n\nStreamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics.\n\nExecute on inventory request and sales order management, providing updates to stakeholders on end presales to ship while adhering to inventory finance policies\n\nMonitor aging inventory and make recommendations for strategy based on pipeline and vendor lead times\n\nRequest inventory to meet project requirements and safety stock minimums\n\nInvestigate and resolve order issues\n\nBehaviors and Competencies\nCommunication: Can effectively communicate complex ideas and information, and can adapt communication style to the audience.\n\nOrganization: Can prioritize daily tasks, manage personal workflow, and utilize basic tools to keep track of responsibilities.\n\nTeamwork: Can work effectively in a team, contributing ideas and effort, and respecting the contributions of others.\n\nProblem-Solving: Can identify problems, propose solutions, and take action to resolve them without explicit instructions.\n\nMulti-Tasking: Can identify opportunities for task optimization, propose solutions, and manage multiple tasks without explicit instructions.\n\nPrioritization: Can identify critical tasks, arrange them based on importance, and execute without explicit instructions.\n\nDetail-Oriented: Can identify errors or inconsistencies in work and make necessary corrections.\n\nTraining: Can identify learning gaps within a team, propose training solutions, and take action to implement them without explicit instructions.\n\nAdaptability: Can adjust to changes in the work environment, manage multiple tasks, and effectively handle uncertainty.\n\nTime-Management: Can generally use time effectively and is working towards improving task prioritization and deadline management.\n\nSkill Level Requirements\nFamiliarity in using Microsoft Dynamics AX for enterprise resource planning, including tasks such as order tracking, inventory management, and financial reporting. - Basic\n\nThe ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently. - Basic\n\nThe ability to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and build strong, long-term customer relationships through a consultative approach preferred - Basic\n\nComprehensive knowledge in the design, operation, and maintenance of data centers to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure preferred - Basic\n\nFamiliarity with the operational mechanisms, hierarchical setup, and the overall framework of SHI, enabling effective navigation and utilization of internal processes preferred - Basic\n\n Other Requirements\nCompleted Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required\n\n3+ years in a Business Supply Chain, Demand Planning or similar role\n\nAbility to travel 10%\n\nThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
