This position will be working as part of a team processing all daily RMA's returned by customers in a timely manner. A successful candidate will be utilizing their communication skills to interface with both sales representatives and vendors throughout the returns process.This position will report to the SHI Piscataway office.\nRole Description\nProcess RMA's thru AX\n\nInspect each package for correct items, broken items, missing items, and record any problems with the package\n\nContact vendors for confirmation and validation of RA's and other questions regarding RA\n\nExpress issues/problems/concerns clearly to both internal employees and vendors\n\nRepackage and shipping of RMA's\n\nUtilization of the UPS shipping machine - internal shipping program and scales\n\nField general questions from sales\n\nDocumenting important information in a SharePoint sites\n\nShipping freight by palletizing and strapping shipment\n\nReceive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality of goods.\n\nOrganize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and storage of products.\n\nPrepare and fulfill orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling items accurately.\n\nOperate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize inventory.\n\nPerform regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies.\n\nAssist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, ensuring efficient handling of goods.\n\nMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and operational standards.\n\nCoordinate with the logistics team to schedule and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers.\n\nCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues and ensure smooth operations.\n\nPerform general warehouse tasks such as labeling, sorting, and repacking as needed.\n\nBehaviors and Competencies\nDetail-Oriented: Can demonstrate an ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.\n\nCommunication: Can communicate simple ideas and information clearly.\n\nOrganization: Can maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow simple organizational systems when assigned.\n\nTeamwork: Can understand the importance of teamwork and is developing the ability to contribute effectively to team efforts.\n\nProblem-Solving: Can demonstrate a willingness to address and resolve problems when they arise.\n\nReliability: Can demonstrate a willingness to complete assigned tasks on time and meet expectations.\n\nAdaptability: Can demonstrate a willingness to accept feedback and adjust to new tasks or changes in the workplace.\n\nTime Management: Can understand the importance of time management and strives to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.\n\nFollowing Instructions: Can demonstrate a willingness to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks as directed.\n\nMulti-Tasking: Can demonstrate a willingness to take on multiple tasks and responsibilities when assigned.\n\nSkill Level Requirements\nProficient in using PCs or laptops to track inventories, reorder supplies, and generate reports - Basic\n\nThe ability to effectively utilize applications like Word and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently - Basic\n\nExperience with UPS, FedEx, DHL and 3rd party shipping software preferred - Basic\n\n Other Requirements\nCompleted High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required\n\nExperience with package handling preferred\n\nAbility to move or lift up to 50 lbs.\n\nThe base salary range for this position is $35,360 - $50,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary, are $35,360 - $50,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
