This role involves automating processes to improve development efficiency, conducting root cause analysis for production issues, and integrating AWS and Azure services into existing infrastructure. The Cloud & DevOps Solutions Engineer will collaborate with development teams to implement new features while ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.Role Description\nDesign, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines. \nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. \nMonitor system performance and manage source code, ensuring operations reports are accurate. \nEnsure systems are updated, compliant with standards, and secure against cyber threats. \nDevelop and maintain on-premises tooling solutions. \nAutomate processes to enhance development efficiency and outcomes. \nConduct root cause analysis for production issues to prevent recurrence. \nCollaborate with development teams to integrate new software features. \nOversee the integration of AWS and Azure services into the existing infrastructure. \nEnsure software development follows best practices and established processes. \nBehaviors and Competencies\nAdaptability: Can adjust to changes in the work environment, manage multiple tasks, and effectively handle uncertainty. \nAnalytical Thinking: Can apply critical thinking to analyze data, identify patterns, and make basic inferences. \nCollaboration: Can actively participate in team discussions, respect differing opinions, and collaborate with others to achieve common goals. \nContinuous Improvement: Can identify moderate areas for improvement and implement moderate changes. \nDigital Acumen: Can identify opportunities to use digital tools for improvement and propose digital solutions. \nProblem-Solving: Can identify problems, propose solutions, and take action to resolve them without explicit instructions. \nTechnical Expertise: Can apply technical knowledge and skills effectively in most situations, with occasional guidance. \n Skill Level Requirements\nKnowledge of Azure Cloud Platforms and associated services \nExpertise in various project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum to effectively plan, execute, and close projects - Basic \nHands-on experience with any flavor of Kubernetes \nKnowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs), understanding of security concepts (access control, authentication, encryption), and proficiency in managing network threats and security solutions (intrusion detection systems, firewalls, Anti-DDOS Protection, Threat Management Protection, Content Filtering, Ingress/Egress management) - Basic \nAbility to utilize version control systems such as GitHub and Azure DevOps effectively - Basic \nCompetence in managing and maintaining Active Directory, AWS, VMware, and Windows Server platforms - Basic \nAbility to effectively utilize tools such as Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Splunk, Git and/or SonarSource for development and operational processes - Basic \nAbility to design, develop, and integrate APIs to enable seamless communication between software applications and services - Basic \nKnowledge with observability tools like Grafana. \n Other Requirements\nCompleted bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required \n1-3 years of experience in cloud computing required \n1-3 years of experience in a similar role required \n1-3 year of experience in Azure preferred \nKnowledge of NVIDIA AI platform a big plus \nThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000 - $145,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
